Taylor Starling is having trouble with Misfits Boxing and the commission.

Misfits Boxing held an event on December 20, 2025 which was headlined by Chase DeMoor vs. Andrew Tate in Dubai. But, a Women’s Lightweight Title bout was apart of the prelims between Carla Jade and Taylor Starling. Carla Jade ended up getting her hand raised that night by Split Decision. Following the bout Taylor Starling appealed the victory, and now, she’s spoken out about what went down, saying that her appeal was denied, and revealing that Misfits has still not paid her from that fight. She took to Instagram to say the following;
”LONG READ, BUT I HAVE TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS:
I fought my heart out and I know I did enough to win. Because of that, I appealed the result, hoping for fairness and accountability. That appeal has now been denied, and it hurts knowing my record has been marked by something that didn’t reflect the truth of that fight. It should’ve been overturned. But no, not even a second thought from the “commission”.
I’m still proud. Proud of my preparation. Proud of my performance. Proud of the fighter I am. A number on a record can’t erase what everyone saw and what I know in my heart. I had everything stacked against me that week to lose. I handled everything with a smile on my face and never wavered once. This chapter didn’t end the way it should have. I’ll keep fighting and I’ll keep standing for what’s right.
Being a fighter means giving up comfort for purpose. It means being a mom, a wife, and a warrior all at once. It means traveling when you want to stay home, investing money you don’t have, cutting weight when everyone else is celebrating, and sacrificing moments you can never get back all because the dream matters that much.
This lifestyle isn’t easy, but it’s powerful. It’s meaningful. And fighters deserve respect, support, and better opportunities for everything we give. I sacrificed so much time and energy into this whole entire experience and I still have not yet been paid, the “commission” completely shot down everything regarding my fight and I’m honestly infuriated by the entire ordeal. I don’t know what else to say. I’ve been gutted for weeks over this but it’s time to try to let it go. But I will let others know, you’re worth more, be smart, promotions don’t give a fuck about you at the end of the day.. be smart, be safe and don’t let anyone screw you over in this game. Don’t learn the hard way like me. FIGHTERS DESERVE BETTER.”
As of now, Misfits Boxing, Mams Taylor or anyone tied to the organization has not spoken out about the matter. Hopefully it gets resolved.
