Lucha Libre is celebrating a stacked week to continue with the kickoff of 2026. Last week, during CMLL Informa, CMLL announced Fin de Semana Internacional for January 16-18th, a weekend that would involve matches and appearances from talent of Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling, being the most attractive announcement a match between Templario and Bandido for the CMLL World Middleweight Championship.
The match officially has a date, both luchadores will face off on Sunday, January 18th during a function of Domingo Familiar CMLL. Bandido is currently the ROH World Champion and is scheduled to have an AEW World Championship Match this Sunday at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage against current champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) after defeating Ricochet for the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
