Heading into their AMC debut on January 15, and even into the new year, TNA had quite a few contracts coming up for expiration, according to Fightful Select.
While not many updates have been available outside of what has been disclosed by talent themselves, Fightful Select has an update on one of those talents today.
“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Killer Kelly’s contract with TNA has expired, and she has effectively left the company. There are not currently creative plans for her.”
Kelly recently lost a match to Myla Grace on Xplosion, and appeared in a digital exclusive video with her partner – Myron Reed – who is scheduled for a prominent match on TNA’s debut on AMC next Thursday, January 15, as he challenges Leon Slater for the X Division title.
This is sort of a surprising move because the company could’ve paired her up with Myron and used them on screen going forward.
Kelly is a former two-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team champion with former TNA Knockout Masha Slamovich as part of MK Ultra.
Within the last 2 weeks, Matt & Jeff Hardy and Mustafa Ali have signed new deals with the company, as well as YouTuber and independent wrestler BDE signing a contract here as well.
