Before AEW Dynamite went on the air, AEW released a video on social media revealing that JetSpeed had been attacked and would not be able to compete in their scheduled match. Renee Paquette then had a segment with Don Callis and The Demand where Don Callis revealed that Jake Doyle (fka Jake Something) was paired up with Mark Davis as part of the Don Callis Family.
After the show, Tony Khan revealed on social media that Jake Doyle was officially All Elite and signed with the company. Doyle was previously signed to TNA Wrestling.
