Former AEW World champion Chris Jericho is reportedly a free agent, and speculation has been running rampant about where he could or will show up once he resurfaces.
Today, we got a bit of a possible update on that.
On the January 8, 2026 episode of the Final Bell Media podcast, Andrew Baydala revealed new details about Jericho’s next potential destination.
“I’m saying this on record—Chris Jericho has already agreed to a WWE return. There’s a lot of smoke around this from what I was gathering from people who were calling and texting me, from people who would know, that Chris Jericho is very interested in working TNA.”
Baydala continues, hyping up the possibility of Jericho showing up at TNA’s debut on AMC next week.
“What a statement it would be if Chris Jericho shows up on the first episode of TNA on AMC. There are not many free agents out there that could move the needle for TNA.”

It remains to be seen where and when Chris Jericho turns up, but coming to TNA at the AMC debut next week would definitely be a huge moment – both for the channel/network and the company.
Earlier today, Mustafa Ali revealed that he re-signed with TNA Wrestling ahead of the AMC debut.
This comes days after YouTuber-turned-pro wrestler BDE announced that he signed a contract with TNA.
Most recently, media influencer Perez Hilton revealed that he’ll be at the TNA debut on AMC on January 15th for an appearance of some kind.
