AEW officials expect Chris Jericho to depart the company and return to WWE once his contract expires according to Sports Illustrated’s Jon Alba. This was initially was reported by Alex McCarthy of Wrestling Intel
Wrestling Intel further elaborated that Jericho is expected to commit to WWE immediately upon his contract expiration at midnight on December 31st and could make his return on the January 5th episode of RAW on Netflix in Brooklyn.
