Moments ago to close out the NXT episode, a new number one contender was crowned to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Title.
Leon Slater nailed Myles Borne with a Swanton 450 to capture the pinfall and win the match, which also consisted of former TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry, and Deon Lennox of Dark State as they battled in a 4 way match.
Oba came out at the end of the match and held up the title belt.
Slater will challenge Femi for the NXT Title at the Tuesday, January 6th New Years Evil episode.
