Kyle Fletcher was the latest guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. They discussed a number of topics and one of the topics was Fletcher signing a new deal with AEW.
Below is what Fletcher had to say about signing a new deal with AEW:
“It felt really cool. I was on a beach in Jamaica when I signed my contract. It was pretty surreal, man. It was one of those moments that I though about my whole life. Signing that big first deal and it’s like it gave me a bit of like, I hate throwing around like buzzwords but like imposter syndrome. It made me feel like man, when I was growing up, I thought there were maybe one or two people with these kind of contracts in the whole world of professional wrestling. And like here I am. Like, it’s a very weird feeling. It’s very weird to realize that like man, this spot that I’m in is pretty cool. It’s pretty big. It’s pretty special. Not a lot of people get to this level. It’s just the journey of life, man. Stuff just happens and opportunities present themselves and this one opportunity you meet someone and then it just goes this way. And then this random thing happens and you go back this way and then somehow you end up here. It’s just the way life works. It’s funny, man.”
