Cody Rhodes vs Oba Femi Ends in a No Contest After Drew McIntyre Interferes
WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and NXT Champion Oba Femi opened up Saturday Night’s Main Event in what many considered a future main event matchup.
Femi dominated early with a combination of backbreakers, a spinebuster, and a running uppercut over the announce table. Rhodes rallied with a powerslam and Cody Cutter for near falls.
The match ended via no contest when Drew McIntyre interfered.
Post match, Rhodes and Femi teamed up to take down McIntyre.
