On Monday, WWE ran an angle with The Vision and LA Knight to close the show. Knight brawled backstage with Bronson Reed and Logan Paul with Reed ultimately taking out Knight with a tsunami on top of a car. Knight was taken away in an ambulance after the angle.
Bodyslam+ reported on Tuesday that Knight is still viewed very much as a top player for the company. Sources indicated to Bodyslam that 2026 will be a much better year for Knight. Knight is being positioned as one of the top babyfaces in the company and with him being involved with The Vision, it’s only going to grow the crowd reactions in a more positive way. The company is aware of the reactions and want to play the long game with Knight.
Fightful Select reported last night that Knight still has multiple years on his contract with WWE and company sources were surprised that fans considered Monday’s angle a burial.
