Gunther on Saturday Night’s Main Event Being a Passing of the Torch
Yesterday, Gunther was a special guest on ESPN’s First Take and they discussed a number of things including Saturday Night’s Main Event being a passing of the torch.
Below is what Gunther had to say about Saturday Night’s Main Event being a passing of the torch:
“Yeah. Quite traditionally it’s always a passing of the torch when somebody really established retires and gets in the ring with somebody from a different generation. I think John Cena represents a certain generation of WWE Superstars and I represent a new generation. I think a lot has changed in WWE. It’s a very international roster now. Very diverse and I think I represent that very well. So in that sense, it definitely is a passing of the torch for the future.
