Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green was the live guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet in San Diego, CA during Survivor Series weekend. They spoke about a number of different topics and one of the topics was Green pitching a custom Divas United States Championship.
Below is what Green had to say about the pitch for a custom Divas United States Championship:
“I asked. It’s not happening. I really did try. I tried so hard. I wanted to do like a Divas Open Challenge. I wanted to do the whole shebang. But I understand that the women before me, it’s fun for me, because I wasn’t a diva, but the women before me fought so hard to kind of end that stigma. And I don’t know if I can bring like I don’t know if bringing it back right now would do those women justice. Maybe in 10 years. Maybe like the girls from NXT can come up and do it in the future. But I will continue trying. I will keep pushing.”
