In tonight’s main event of NXT, Oba Femi defended the NXT Championship against 2025 Iron Survivor Je’Von Evans. Je’Von Evans looked to have the match won to become the new NXT Champion when Ricky Saints appeared and pulled the referee out of the ring.
Evans looked confused and took his eye off the ball and Femi took advantage. Femi hit Evans with a powerbomb and pinned him to retain the NXT Championship.
After the match, Oba Femi and Ricky Saints stared at each other outside of the ring as the show went off the air.
Oba Femi will now challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event officially.
