New NXT Champion Oba Femi kicked off the show tonight talking about his win at NXT Deadline and hyping up the match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Former NXT Champion Ricky Saints and 2025 Iron Survivor Je’Von Evans interrupted Oba. Ricky said it’s 1-1 between him and Oba. Je’Von said he doesn’t want to wait until NXT New Year’s Evil for his NXT Championship opportunity. Oba Femi accepts the challenge. NXT General Manager Ava made the match official for tonight’s main event.
