TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater Announced For 12/13 WWE Saturday Night Main Event: John Cena’s Last Match
Earlier tonight during Monday Night RAW, it was announced that current WWE Raw Tag Team Champions would be involved in a BIG match on the card that features John Cena’s last match – where he’ll be wrestling Gunther.
TNA X Division champion Leon Slater will be teaming with NXT stat Je’Von Evans to take on the current WWE RAW Tag Team champions – AJ Styles & Dragon Lee – in a non-title match.
Je’Von Evans and Leon both participated in an Iron Man Survivor challenge on NXT Deadline this past Saturday night. Evans won the match and earned himself a future World Title shot for the NXT Heavyweight Title.
Leon Evans battled Evans at the TNA Bound For Glory PPV back in October in a GREAT match, The contest ended in a double disqualification when the Dark State group attacked both men.
The other 3 matches announced for the event are:
- John Cena vs. GUNTHER
- Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi
- Bayley vs. Sol Ruca
