TNA Talent Reportedly “Don’t Feel Much Confidence In The Creative” As The Company Heads To AMC Network In January

Last week, TNA Wrestling officially announced that AMC network would be their new media partner in 2026 as they head to the network for the debut episode on January 15.

During his December 6 Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that when he reached out to TNA talent about the new AMC media rights deal, concerns about booking/creative were raised immediately.

“Creative is a primary thing of which the talent want fixed. They don’t feel as much confidence in their creative. And that’s not me trying to pick on TNA—it’s just the very, very common reaction I got when I asked about the TV deal. I wasn’t even fishing for anything like that. It was presented without instigation, so to speak.”

A big part of the TNA to AMC narrative right now is that a lot of the talent reportedly “hope creative would get a big step up.”

Matt Hardy & Jon Alba had a discussion on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy a few days ago about the creative possibly expanding and improving within the company – as well as moments being more important than wrestling, especially with them trying to gain and keep viewers in the new platform.

Time will ultimately tell whether or not things change or not.
