Last night at ROH Final Battle, Red Velvet defeated Mercedes Moné to become a two-time ROH Women’s World Television Champion.
Recently, Red Velvet sustained an injury and Ring of Honor had to crown an interim ROH Women’s World Television Champion. Mina Shirakawa became champion but then she lost it to Mercedes Moné in a winner takes all match at AEW WrestleDream.
Velvet challenged Mercedes Moné on an episode of AEW Dynamite recently but she fell short and Mercedes Moné became the unified ROH Women’s World Television Champion. Red Velvet invoked her rematch clause leading to a match at Final Battle which Velvet came out of victorious.
