Last night, CMLL presented another edition of their weekly news show, CMLL Informa on Youtube and showed several highlight on their X Official account. The news broke out when they announced their last major show of 2025: Dream Matches Friday, featuring a series of matches that involve talent from both AEW and CMLL.
The first of the three announced dream matches is Kevin Knight who will clash against Neón, both men recently faced each other in a tag match recently at CMLL Viernes Espectacular that also involved both competitor’s partners, Mascara Dorada and “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
Speaking of, Máscara Dorada and “Speedball” Mike Bailey will have a match on their own but with higher stakes, as the young masked luchador will be defending hist World Historic Welterweight Championship against the Canadian star in what will be a match that will combine the hybrid styles of both competitors.
Finally, Ultimo Guerrero will have the opportunity to bring back the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship back to the company after Claudio Castagnoli defeated Ultimo’s brother Gran Guerrero for the championship and taking the strap off from him after a 3 year long reign. Claudio has previously faced off against Ultimo Guerrero in different situations, but nothing with this type of stakes.
