On last night’s episode of NXT, two more matches were made official for NXT Deadling bringing the card to five total matches.
Izzi Dame had a segment on the show explaining turning her back on Tatum Paxley at NXT Gold Rush, which led to Paxley interrupting Dame via the titantron making a match between the two official for Saturday.
Double champion Ethan Page was shown leaving the Performance Center walking to his car when NXT General Manager Ava walked up to him in the parking lot. Ava informed him that he would be defending the NXT North American Championship at NXT Deadline as it hadn’t been defended since NXT Halloween Havoc last month. Page looked confused but quickly found out who his opponent would be as they appeared in his car and it was none other than Mr. Iguana. Ethan Page will defend the NXT North American Championship against Mr. Iguana this Saturday.
