In a highly competitive singles match at Alianzas in Puebla, El Grande Americano defeated El Hijo del Vikingo after a controversial finish. This match with the storytelling was nothing short of spectacular.
The match exceeded twenty minutes and featured plenty of high flying offense, with several near falls that had the crowd on its feet. Ultimately, interference from Los Americanos (Rayo and Bravo) and an angry Dragon Lee proved decisive.
While the referee was distracted, Los Americanos slipped a steel plate to El Grande Americano and one leaping headbutt with the loaded mask helped Americano pick up the win.
Immediately after the match, Dragon Lee stormed the ring and attacked Vikingo. Rey Mysterio intervened and officially announced that Vikingo and Dragon Lee will face off at Guerra de Titanes on December 20th in Guadalajara.
