Ethan Page Discusses Je’Von Evans Potential, Says WWE Should Sign Him To A 15-Year Deal

At just 21 years old, Je’von Evans is someone who many feel can be the future of WWE. Signing in 2023, the star has amazed NXT viewers for around two years despite not yet winning the NXT Championship. Now, it appears as if the current North American Champion is also a fan one of the company’s brightest young stars.

Discussing Je’von’s potential, Ethan Page told Adam Silverstein on Getting Over that Evans has a higher ceiling than anyone in WWE, discussing how he thinks the company should tie ‘The Young OG’ down to a 15-year deal.

“Higher than everyone else here. Higher than mine. That hurts me to say. He’s just himself. That is one thing it took me so long to figure out. Essentially, just be as genuine as possible. As much as I hate the kid, he is who he is, no one is going to change him. When he performs, that’s as genuine of a Je’Von as you’re going to get. He has an unlimited ceiling and I hope the WWE has signed him to a 15-year contract.”

Page and Evans had a memorable feud on the NXT brand at the start of 2025 which featured the moment Page broke the jaw of his rival as part of the story. They’d go on share the ring at both the Vengeance Day and Roadblock Premium Live Events.
