Zaria and Fallon Henley qualified through a tournament to challenge each other for the vacant Women’s Speed Championship.
Not much action in the first 2 1/2 minutes of the match until Zaria locks in a Texas Cloverleaf. Zaria controls the momentum and hit a clothesline from the top rope on Fallon but Henley rolled to the outside. Zaria went after Henley but Fatal Influence distracted Zaria.
Fallon Henley hit a crossbody off the top rope but Zaria rolled through and went for the f6 but Henley countered it into a DDT. Neither competitor is able to get a cover in the five minute time limit and the match seems to end in a draw.
NXT General Manager Ava comes out and makes the match sudden death. First pinfall winner takes all.
Henley gets the momentum to begin the restarted match and the competitors exchange pinfalls until they get to their feet and Zaria hits Henley with some kicks and a headbutt.
Zaria goes for a suplex and Henley counters into a pinfall. Zaria hit Henley with a spear but Fallon rolled to the outside again.
Zaria went for another spear but Lainey Reid moved Henley out of the way and Zaria crashed into the steps.
Henley rolls Zaria back into the ring and hits a shining wizard followed by the Leg Drop Bulldog. Winner and new Women’s Speed Champion Fallon Henley.
