Hats off to Carmelo Hayes because he took the Ring General Gunther to the limits. It was speed versus power, David against Goliath but in the end it was the latter who got the victory after a power bomb, followed by a sleeper, ending with a final bomb from Gunther.
Carmelo did have his bright moments almost defeating Gunther via count out on multiple occasions. He even went for his patented Melo Don’t Miss but after a ferocious clothesline that was the start of the end for Carmelo Hayes.
With his victory over Carmelo Hayes, Gunther becomes for the first finalist in the Last Time Is Now tournament against John Cena on December 13th at Saturday Night Main Event.
