AJ Lee Reveals Her Production Company Scrappy Heart Productions is Writing a Movie for Toei Animation
On the latest episode of What’s Your Story with Stephanie McMahon, AJ Lee spoke about the production company that her and Aimee Garcia founded called Scrappy Heart Productions.
Scrappy Heart Productions mission is to create the change they want to see. As American Latina storytellers, they are dedicated to elevating diverse perspectives with universal themes, making underdogs the heroes of their own stories across all media.
When talking about different projects that Scrappy Heart Productions have worked on, AJ revealed that they are currently writing a movie for Toei Animation. Toei Animation produced popular animes like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Sailor Moon, and Digimon.
Lee proceeded to say that it was a dream come true to be in the Toei Animation offices with all of the Dragon Ball Z figures everywhere.
