Samoa Joe Defeats Hangman Adam Page to Become the New AEW World Champion
Hangman Page goes right after Samoa Joe and throws him into the cage. Page gets Joe in the corner and starts punching him. Joe is busted open and Hangman hits a moonsault onto him.
Hangman Page takes his boot off and starts beating Joe with it over and over and over. Page won’t let up and goes to choke Joe in the ropes. The ref steps in and Joe gets up and starts chopping Page in the chest.
Hangman reverses and hits multiple running clotheslines but Joe doesn’t leave his feet. Joe reverses the final one and throws Hangman into the cage.
Hangman Page gets up and he is now bleeding. Page is trapped against the cage and Joe uses it to his advantage.
Joe is currently in control and is punching Hangman right where he is busted open. Page is absorbing it and giving it right back to Joe.
Hangman Page hits a spinning elbow followed by throwing Joe into two sides of the cage and a suplex.
Hangman locks in the Coquina Clutch on Samoa Joe but Joe gets up and pushes Joe into the turnbuckle followed by a uranage slam.
Joe throws Hangman into the corner and starts hitting him with right hands and chops. Samoa Joe goes for the Muscle Buster but Hangman bites him to get him away.
Joe climbs the ropes to meet Hangman on the middle rope but Hangman flips into a powerbomb.
Katsuyori Shibata appears and distracts Hangman Page. Eddie Kingston comes down to ringside to grab Shibata and they are now brawling on the outside.
Hangman Page hits the Deadeye on Joe but Paul Turner got crushed against the cage and is knocked out in the ring.
Powerhouse Hobbs appears and rips the chain off of the steel cage door. Hangman Page hits him with a low blow and throws him into the cage. Joe goes for the Coquina Clutch. Joe ran Page into the exposed turnbuckle but Page turned it into the Buckshot Lariat. Hook appears and knocks out Hangman Page with the AEW World Championship. Hook takes off his jacket and reveals an Opps shirt.
Samoa Joe hits a Muscle Buster on Hangman Page and gets the cover to become the new AEW World Champion.
