Ricochet Wins the Casino Gauntlet Match to Become the Inaugural AEW National Champion
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin won their respective qualifying matches to become entrants one and two in the Casino Gauntlet Match. Ricochet enters at number three but GOA attack Bobby and Shelton while Ricochet watches on.
Claudio Castagnoli enters at number four coming through the crowd and immediately hits Ricochet with an uppercut followed by the swing.
Daniel Garcia enters at number five and immediately goes after Ricochet.
Orange Cassidy enters at number six and slaps Ricochet on the top of his bald head. Claudio Castagnoli comes into the ring and picks up Cassidy by his jean pants and they go back and forth.
Wheeler Yuta enters at number seven and the Death Riders triple team Orange Cassidy with a three on one attack.
Kevin Knight enters at number eight and takes out Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta on the outside of the ring.
Roderick Strong enters at number nine and immediately goes after The Death Riders.
Mark Davis enters at number ten and takes out everyone in the ring including Roderick Strong, Kevin Knight, and Ricochet.
Speedball Mike Bailey enters at number eleven and JetSpeed take out Mark Davis and both men go for the pin on Davis. JetSpeed go after each other but they know one another very well so they reversed everything.
Daddy Magic enters at twelve and immediately gets into it with former friend Daniel Garcia. Menard chases Garcia away from the ring and through the crowd.
Ricochet hits the Spirit Gun on Kevin Knight to get the win and become the inaugural AEW National Champion.
