FTR controlled the ring at the beginning of the match neutralizing Bandido until Brody King was able to get the hot tag. King rushed into the ring and took out both members of FTR hitting a Death Valley Driver and Running Cannonballs in the corner.
After a little interference by Stokely Hathaway on Bandido that wasn’t seen by the referee, FTR got a little momentum of their own on Brody King in the corner hitting a double suplex from the top rope.
Brody King would toss Cash Wheeler to the outside of the ring and go for a suicide dive but Stokely Hathaway sacrificed himself and pushed Wheeler out of the way.
Bandido would get the advantage in the ring over Dax and then hit a crossbody from the top rope to both Wheeler and Harwood on the outside of the ring. Bandido went for 21 plex on Dax Harwood but Cash Wheeler held Dax’s hands on the outside causing a reversal with FTR hitting a Shatter Machine and the cover gets broken up at 2.99 by Brody King.
Cash Wheeler introduced the title into the ring and King accidentally helped Wheeler hit Bandido in the head with it but Bandido was able to kick out. King took out Wheeler on the outside of the ring and Brodido hit the Shatter Machine on Dax for a two count.
Brodido went to hit their tag team finisher but Cash Wheeler grabbed Bandido’s legs and pulled him into the pole holding the ropes. Brody King locked in a choke on Dax on the apron but Cash put King in a sleeper hold. FTR hit Brody with a piledriver on the apron and turned their attention to Bandido.
FTR hit the spike piledriver on Bandido in the ring but Bandido kicked out once again. FTR can’t believe it. FTR hit the Shatter Machine on Bandido to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
