The following article contains spoilers for the AAA show that will take place on November 28th at Auditorio GNP in Puebla.
Rey Mysterio was previously announced for the show a couple weeks ago on the official X Account of Lucha Libre AAA WorldWide without giving any specific details on what was his role on the show. Since the purchase by WWE, Rey Mysterio has mostly been used to open up the shows and sharing some words to the crowd in order to hype up the event. Last time he was seen on a AAA event was at TripleMania when he inducted Konnan to the AAA Hall of Fame.
Lucha Libre Journalist and YouTube Eduardo Bates can confirm that Rey Mysterio appearance will be used to set up a match for the AAA Mega Championship against his son, Dominik Mysterio at Guerra de Titanes on December 20th at the new Arena Guadalajara at Guadalajara, Jalisco.
