Timeless Love Bombs and Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir advance to the Semifinals of the AEW Women’s Tag Title Tournament
The semi finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions are set.
On last night’s special edition of AEW Dynamite & Collision, the final two matches of the first round occurred and it will have consequences at Saturday’s Full Gear.
During the second hour of the show, Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa) defeated the team of Alex Windsor & Riho. During the third hour, the team of Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir defeated TayJay (Anna Jay & Tay Melo). Shafir replaced Penelope Ford on the tournament after the latter suffered a shoulder injury and forced her to forfeit her spot.
After Bayne & Shafir won their match, a 4 Way Tag Match has been set for Full Gear. All of the semi finalists teams will square off in the contest and whichever teams gains the victory will receive the privilige of picking the match stipulation for their corresponding semi finals bracket.
The other two corresponding teams are Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) and Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue)
AEW presents Full Gear live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey The event will be available in HBO Max, Thriller TV and traditional Pay-Per-View.
