The World’s End season is upon All Elite Wrestling!
During the special edition of the go home Dynamite + Collision show, it was announced that the third edition of the Continental Classic will start next week on Dynamite’s edition live from Nashville, Tennessee.
The Continental Classic (C2) is an annual professional wrestling round-robin tournament hosted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The tournament is held at the end of the calendar year, beginning after November’s Full Gear pay-per-view (PPV) event and culminating at the Worlds End PPV in late December.
The 2023 tournament was won by then-ROH World Champion and NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston, who defeated Jon Moxley in the finals at Worlds End 2023; as he held three championships, he was declared by AEW to be the first American Triple Crown Champion, with the combined championship known as the Continental Crown. Kazuchika Okada won the 2024 edition of the tournament as the reigning AEW Continental Champion when he defeated Will Ospreay.
