Mustafa Ali –
Fightful Select has learned of a number of TNA talent who will see their contracts expire at the end of the year, one of those is Mustafa Ali.
Fightful Select has confirmed that Mustafa Ali’s deal goes through the end of 2025, and he appears to be keeping his options open as of now.
Mustafa Ali had a run in TNA as the X Division champion in 2024, and then disappeared. He returned to the company in February of this year.
Matt & Jeff Hardy –
TNA sources tell Fightful Select that their deals will be up next month unless an extension was quietly reached. The company does hope to retain them.
The Hardy Boyz re-signed with TNA in November 2024, and Fightful Select has confirmed those were one-year deals. Sources in the company have said that the deal has been mutually beneficial and a lot of positive has emerged from it.
In somewhat of a tease/possible update, Matt Hardy indicated last Friday on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast that “we may have re-signed already, who knows?” when he was asked about the contract status of him and his brother Jeff.
Matt Hardy first returned to TNA at the Rebellion PPV in April of 2024, and Jeff followed in June of 2024 at the Against All Odds PLE in June of the same year. The duo are currently both the TNA and NXT Tag Team Champions, and set for a defense this Saturday at the NXT Halloween Havoc event.
Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay, The IInspiration-
Fightful has learned of TNA contracts that have expired.
Last week, Fightful Select reported that the deals of The IInspiration — Cassie Lee and Jess McKay were coming up soon. This surprised many, because the duo recently won the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships.
The deals were up following Bound For Glory, but both sides are interested in continuing to work with one another and an extension is expected. The two have worked on short-term deals, which they have preferred.
The duo reappeared in TNA back in June at the Against All Odds event in Tempe, Arizona.
The pair are the current TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions after defeating Heather & M By Elegance of the Elegance Brand prior to Bound For Glory, and then successfully defending the titles against them at Bound For Glory as well.
Cedric Alexander –
Sources in TNA reached out (to Fightful Select) after the contract story was published to confirm that he was in fact signed to a deal, but that the deal is up around the time of Bound for Glory. It was noted that TNA is hoping and expecting to retain Cedric.
Yesterday, Cedric took to his social media Twitter account to promote TNA’s upcoming November events, which is a strong indication that Alexander will be staying with TNA at least for the time being.
Cedric first debuted in June of this year ahead of the Slammiversary PPV, where he was set to battle Mustafa Ali.
With Cedric, Cassie, and Jessica “expected to remain” in TNA, and Matt teasing he and Jeff have possibly signed new deals, those are big pieces for TNA headed into 2026. TNA fans hope the company can keep a good amount – if not all – of the current talent whose deals are coming up.
