On Sunday at the TNA Bound For Glory PPV, Chris Bey came out from the back in between the X Division title match and before competitors came out for the Tables Match between Matt & Jeff Hardy and Team 3D, Chris Bey walked out from the back with a special announcement – he revealed that TNA attendance at Bound for Glory is 7,794, marking the largest attendance for a TNA show in North America in the history of the company.
This breaks the previous record of 7,623 set at the Slammiversary PPV back in July of this year.
On Sunday morning – the day of the PPV – famous ticket tracker WrestleTix had a count of just over 6,000 tickets had been distributed.
The company had opened more sections throughout the week and even that day, and walk ups seemed to be very good.
This event and the historic attendance is a great example of what this TNA roster, backstage staff, and the right partnership can do for a company.
