For months, Mike Santana has been chasing Trick Williams and the TNA World Title belt. The two battled went back and forth a few times over that time, and even at the TNA Slammiversary PPV the two battled each other and Joe Hendry, who ended up eating the pin and that opened the door for Trick to retain the title.
The match with Trick ended when Santana nailed a final SPIN THE BLOCK to finish off Trick Williams and become the TNA World Champion.
TNA President Carlos Silva got into the ring and placed the title on his shoulder before Santana celebrated with his daughter.
Santana thanked his daughter after the victory, where both cried tears of joy after she came into the ring with him and they embraced.
This is Mike Santana’s first reign as TNA World Champion since signing with TNA in April of 2024.
