TNA President Carlos Silva Talks Taking Steps To Break Attendance Record At Bound For Glory PPV

Carlos Silva took over as President of Anthem Sports Group/TNA in December of 2024. In the short amount of time here, Carlos has steered a team tjay shattered attendance records continually, and looks to do it again this Sunday night.

TNA President Carlos Silva spoke with WrestleZone about his previous goals set for Bound For Glory, which is TNA’s biggest event of the year. The company previously set a new North America attendance record at Slammiversary earlier this year when the company drew 7,623 fans for the July event.

TNA is at the Tsongas Center, the venue hosting Bound For Glory, boasts a capacity of at least 7,800 for concerts. Silva said TNA recently reconfigured the setup to feature an “in the round” seating arrangement and hopes they can attract a crowd of 8,000 fans.

“All of this crossover that’s been going on with NXT has continued to keep TNA in front of everyone. And I think that’s gonna continue to elevate Bound for Glory yet again, [continuing] from the June Slammiversary. We want it to be our biggest event. I’ve said it a number of times, I’ll say it again. I want to break the record that we just broke at Slammiversary, which was 7,623 people in the arena. We’d like to get 8,000 in the arena in Lowell. 

“We actually reconfigured it just that way. We’re going to be completely “in the round” in that arena with a walkout through the tunnel, down the middle, so that we could put more and more seats on the floor,” Silva added.

Silva touted the stories between Trick Williams and Mike Santana, The Hardys and Team 3Dand the building tension between NXT and TNA as reasons to tune in.

“I think we’re going to see more of that too, at Bound for Glory. I’m excited,” Silva said. “It’ll be nice to be back in the Boston area and see all the fans come out. And let’s look—all of us together. Let’s break the record again. We set a record, but records are meant to be broken. I want to break the record again.

“We want everyone there. We want to have a packed house. And we all want to celebrate breaking the North American record yet again,” Silva added. “It’s going to be an amazing night. I mean, there’s so many belts. There’s so many legends. There’s so many young champions. And just, you know, thanks for all the TNA support as we continue to build the brand.”
