Paul Walter Hauser Says Adam Copeland and DDP Gave Him Feedback After Watching His First Match
PWH opens up about the first match he had in professional wrestling.
While speaking with TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, Paul Walter Hauser opened up about the feedback he received from legends like Adam Copeland and Diamond Dallas Page after he competed in his first match in the world of pro wrestling.
“I think most folks know that I have a long ways to go, but they also — in equanimity, they’ll tell me that — I remember showing my first match to people like Edge and DDP and then saying like — my first match didn’t look that good — them being very complimentary and saying like, at least you have some things down, you can tell you’ve retained some stuff if even from watching wrestling. There are things you do that need to be done that some people don’t know how to do. Whether they meant to or not, that was enough encouragement.”
That first match was against Matthew Palmer at a Wrestling REVOLVER event in Los Angeles. PWH walked out as the winner, in both the ring and for his future goals of stepping back into the squared circle.
