John Cena Says He Would Love to Go Back in Time and Battle Andre the Giant in a WrestleMania Main Event

John Cena would have loved to battle the scariest man in the WWF.

While speaking at the Chicago Fan Expo, John Cena was asked plenty of questions by fans in attendance, one of them being about which legend Cena would love to go back in time and battle it out with in the events of a WrestleMania main event, this is who Cena chose for that.

“Just selfishly, Andre, because he was like the measuring stick. The folklore behind Andre the Giant is mythical, and both physical as his presence, but also in the folklore of the fraternity of the Brotherhood of Wrestling, especially the WWF territory. I’m sure it’s across the world, because Andre was a global phenomenon, but… Selfishly, yes. That’d be the one, Andre the Giant.”

Cena has been in the main event of many WrestleMania events, this past year, he won his last main event at the grandest stage of them all by becoming the first-ever seventeen-time WWE Champion over Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
