Moments ago, former TNA Digital Media Champion and AAA star Laredo Kid took to his social media Twitter account to thank TNA and said he hopes to be back in the future.
“Thank you for everything to this great company and family @ThisIsTNA . I appreciate your tremendous support. I hope to return to work in the future. We’re on a new path.”
Laredo Kid had dual contracts with both TNA and AAA, however, his last TNA appearance was on the 5/29 TNA iMPACT! episode in Brampton, Canada, where he battled three other teams by himself after his partner Octagon JR was taken out. Laredo did not win the match.
Laredo is a two-time AAA World Cruiserweight champion – a belt which he currently holds – as well as being former TNA Digital Media champion.
Hopefully Laredo Kid shows back up in TNA at some point, but most of his work lately has been with AAA with his partner Octagon Jr as the Aztec Warriors since WWE acquired them back in April.
