TNA President Carlos Silva Says That Joe Hendry Is Still Under Contract With TNA
Joe Hendry is here to stay in TNA.
At TNA Victory Road, a win for Joe Hendry over Eric Young made fans speculate that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion was set to depart from the TNA promotion so he can make his way to another partner of theirs in the WWE.
However, according to the TNA President, Carlos Silva. This is not true and Hendry is still in TNA for now on an episode of the Battleground podcast.
“That is correct. Yeah, it caught me off guard when he said it as well. So yes, he is and he is until he’s not. He is. Joe has been great for us, Joe’s been great with WWE and NXT. We’ll continue to work through that together as good partners do.”
Hendry did wave goodbye to the fans, but it could have been a tease for a future goodbye if the TNA does win their Showdown with NXT on the October 7 edition of WWE NXT vs. TNA: Showdown.
