Taya Valkyrie: AEW Isn’t Afraid to Take Risks, They Make People See Pro Wrestling from a Different Perspective
Taya Valkyrie speaks about the differences between both companies.
While speaking with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Taya Valkyrie spoke about what the differences are between working in a place like the WWE and coming to wrestle for a place like All Elite Wrestling.
“Here’s the thing: AEW to me is the disruptor. They came in and shook the cage a little bit, making people see pro wrestling from a different perspective. They brought in talent who were thriving internationally, in the Indies, and from around the world. We’re grittier, we’re not afraid to take risks, and Tony (Khan) isn’t afraid to disrupt. That makes wrestling fun and keeps it interesting,” she said.
Valkyrie had worked prior in the WWE as the character “Franky Monet” back in 2021 before departing from the WWE to sign with AEW.
She currently wrestles in Ring Of Honor and AEW with her husband, Johnny TV.
