Ric Flair would have loved to see William Regal get a World Championship reign.
Throughout his career, William Regal had been praised for his strong technical skills, gritty mindset, and vicious strikes he would dish out on plenty of opponents throughout his legendary career. However, the former King of the Ring winner never got the opportunity to hold a World Championship, and this legend feels that should have happened.
“Another good technical wrestler is Steve Regal. Very good. Very technical. He never really got the push he deserved. But, Steve is an excellent technical wrestler and, and on top of that, a great guy,” Flair told Escapist Magazine.
Regal currently works in a backstage role for the WWE, but still makes time to have some appearances when it comes to WWE NXT and his son, Charlie Dempsey.
