Chris Bey Provides Injury Update, Thanks Fans For Not Forgetting Him

Back in October of 2024, TNA star Chris Bey took a bad bump and was immediately injured, knowing something was off.

TNA star Chris Bey holds the true meaning of one of the “Greatest Story Ever Told” sagas. From being injured and not he might never walk again in October of last year to now being able to walk and stand for long periods of time is pretty remarkable.

Back in February, Chris Bey disclosed that he had started walking again in what he deemed “The Greatest Story Ever Told.”

Back in April, an interview with Chris Van Vliet hit the pro wrestling community, where Chris Bey detailed his injury, surgery/recovery, inspirations, and all the support he’s received.

He also was part of the LIVE Unbreakable event in Las Vegas, Nevada. TNA held a “Q&A All Day” event ahead of their TNA Unbreakable show, and just days before WrestleMania in Las Vegas. Bey also appeared LIVE at the event.

While many fans have wondered about both Chris’s TNA status and if he’s being taken care of by TNA/parent company Anthem Sports, have can absolutely rest assured that Chris is definitely being taken care of, as revealed by himself a few months ago and in August, Fightful Select reported that “TNA sources indicated that Chris Bey’s deal was nearing its end, but that he is still considered with the company and is being paid under the terms of his deal.”

Bey also spoke with Kate of Fightful directly recently, where Bey talked about how he’s been feeling and being grateful:

“Mentally, I’m feeling great. Physically, I’m feeling great. There’s a long way to go if I’m going to get back in the ring, if we’re being honest. But the support from everybody is what keeps me fueling and keeps me going. The prayers don’t go unappreciated. Your blessings, your thoughts, all of that stuff, I feel that. It helps fuel me every day when I get out of bed. It’s a struggle to get up, but it’s worth it every single day. I put those feet under me. I look at the tattoo above my knee that says, every day above ground is a good day. I take that and I run with it. I try to put my best foot forward because I’m at the point of my life where I can put a foot forward again. So I’m just grateful and I’m blessed. I thank all of you and I hope you keep showing me love and support. I’m glad you haven’t forgotten about me.”

H/T Robert DeFelice & William Thatch for Fightful.

Chris has had a remarkable recovery, but admits he has a long way to go.

Myself and the Bodyslam staff continue wishing Chris Bey a good recovery.
