Moments ago on the NXT No Mercy PLE, NXT General Manager Ava announced that there will be an official Invasion TV special taking place on Tuesday, October 7th on the CW network.
This is the NXT response to TNA invading their show last week and standing tall in the ring to close out the show.
Shortly after the invasion on Tuesday, Bodyslam + reported that “Sources indicate to Bodyslam that there have been discussions of a PLE or TV special involving both TNA and NXT.”
The event will host two survivor-series type matches; one for the men and one for the women.
There will also be a huge tag team title match where Dark State will put the NXT Tag Team titles on the line, and the Hardy’s will put their TNA Tag Team Titles on the line in a Title-For-Title match.
After how the title for title match between Trick Williams ended this week, Ava made it clear that NOBODY is allowed at ringside.
Will Matt & Jeff Hardy win another set of titles, or will Dark State get the better of the Legendary duo?
We’ll have to find out on October 7, ONLY ON THE CW network.
