Shawn Michaels: It’s Very Fortunate for Us When Cody Rhodes Comes to the Performance Center, The Business Is in Good Hands with Him Around

Shawn Michaels praises Cody Rhodes for all the hard work he has accomplished.

Since coming back to the WWE, Cody Rhodes has done everything, from winning multiple WrestleMania matches to winning the Royal Rumble twice to becoming the Undisputed Men’s World Champion twice.

While speaking with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed. Shawn Michaels was asked about the run Rhodes has been on and how the business is in good hands with the American Nightmare around to be a huge help.

“You’re always comforted when you’re handing over the reins of this business to someone that respects it, honors it, and enjoys it,” said Michaels. “That gives all of us a lot of peace and comfort.

“When Cody comes into the Performance Center, it’s very fortunate for us. He wants to pass it on to the next generation and echoes a lot of what we say. That’s a huge help and comfort to everyone in WWE. You know the business is in good hands moving into the future.”

HBK oversees the NXT brand as the current WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative.
