Booker T: Oba Femi Is Very Green in the Business, But He’s So Smart and Can Be a Generational Talent

Booker T gives praise where it is due for the current NXT Men’s World Champion.

Oba Femi has been causing chaos since his arrival in NXT, and since winning the NXT Men’s World Championship at the start of the year, there have not been many contenders who could truly take the gold off his waist.

While speaking with Esports Insider, Booker T, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer was asked about Femi and his rise in NXT, this is what the former five-time World Champion had to say.

The only thing I do with Oba is hype him up. I tell him how good he is. He’s very green in the business, but he’s so smart already. He’s a generational talent, he could have worked in the seventies, the eighties, and the nineties,” he said. “He stands heads and shoulders above so many in this business already, just three years in. So I’m like Oba Femi’s hype man, he does so many things so well, and I don’t think you could teach it just. It’s just something that is in his DNA, so I love what Oba is doing, he’s one of my, one of my favourite guys.”

Femi is set to defend the NXT Men’s World Championship against Ricky Saints at NXT’s No Mercy.
