Booker T: Believing In Your Character Is Sacred in Pro Wrestling, It’s Something That These Young Guys Don’t Think or Care About These Days
Booker T opens up about wrestlers being too much on their social media.
While speaking with Esports Insider, Booker T, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer was asked about the comments made by the Undertaker, another Hall of Famer, who says he does not like seeing wrestlers backstage filming TikToks for their social media when they should be paying attention to the monitors and asking for advice from the veterans that are still around. This is what Booker had to say about that.
“I agree with Taker. I truly believe in keeping the character as real as you possibly can. Because that’s your money maker. And I always say, can you imagine if The Undertaker was ‘The Phenom’ on pay-per-view on Saturday night, and then on Tuesday night he was on TikTok as a chef. You wouldn’t be able to buy The Undertaker the same way. So I think believing in the character and keeping the character sacred. It’s something that these young guys really don’t think about or care about these days.”
Booker T currently serves as a commentator alongside Vic Joseph in WWE NXT, he has said he believes Trick Williams, the current TNA Men’s World Champion can be the biggest star in the WWE one day.
