Details TNA-NXT Invasion & How Long It’s Planned For, TNA Schedule Immediately Following Bound For Glory PPV
As most of you have probably seen – and Bodyslam covered somewhat in depth earlier today – the long-talked about invasion angle between TNA and NXT kicked off last night when TNA talent being shown and making their presence felt all throughout the LIVE NXT show last night, culminating with a huge brawl to end the show, where the TNA talent cleared the ring and stood strong.
Many fans have been asking how long this specific angle will play out, and while an exact time hasn’t been revealed, Fightful Select is reporting that “we’re told will be a long term program involving the two sides.”
TNA has many diligent fans who find things that nobody else would – small details about stuff, and even at times schedules in the TV guide leading to new tv deal discoveries (such as Sportsnet360 in Canada). So it didn’t go unnoticed that there is a gap in TNA’s live event scheduling as of right now.
The last 3 major PPVs have all had a LIVE Thursday iMPACT! that following the great event, however, that doesn’t seem to be the case with Bound For Glory – at least from what’s been scheduled. Fans have been wondering what the plan is as it gets closer to the dates, but although the company hasn’t commented in an official capacity, Fightful Select has somewhat of an update on the immediate post-Bound For Glory events.
“Fightful Select is told this isn’t an accident, as there is an extended plan to continue this angle well through Bound For Glory. We can’t speak to what exactly, but we were told to not be surprised to see something unconventional or different for TNA TV following Bound For Glory.
If the shows were at the WWE Performance Center, they wouldn’t be listed on ticketing sites as of now.”
Initial speculation was that TNA would be taking time off immediately following Bound For Glory to prepare for their new television network after the rumored television deal is announced at or around Bound for Glory, and this would give TNA a chance to upgrade production equipment and such. They could still keep buzz going through the month if not doing anything until their already-announced dates in November, which are currently slated for Thursday, November 13 through Saturday, November 15th in Orlando, Florida.
Fightful suggesting the WWE PC (Performance Center) is a possible new development that could be intriguing.
TNA could run events there and even roll it into the current invasion storyline, something along the lines of “TNA took over the PC, NXT will have to fight to get it back”, type of story.
What happens will be interesting, and Bodyslam will be here to continue with updates as more information becomes available.
