Last night during the NXT Homecoming episode at Full Sail University in Orlando Florida, it was announced that Oba Femi would put the NXT Heavyweight Title on the line against Trick Williams, who will also be defending the TNA World Title in a title for title match.
The winner will go on to fight Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy.
The segment went down with Ricky and Oba both being guests on the Grayson Waller Affect. Both men exchange insults before Trick comes out and interrupts. Trick has some words with Oba, and then Grayson jumps up and suggests that they fight next week in a title versus title match.
The two champions have a stare down backstage to end the show, with William Regal telling NXT General Manager Ava, “it looks like you’ve got trouble on your hands next week..”
Regal is referring to all of the TNA talent who were live-tweeting during the NXT episode in preparation for what seems like an invasion, and most were very upset that the TNA World Title is going to be on the line against another NXT talent and not somebody from TNA.

All throughout the night, NXT commentator Vic Joseph was reading the reactionary Tweets from TNA talent about bringing their title back home and not being part of the Homecoming show.
We’ll have to wait and see what transpires next week, but it sounds like TNA will be crashing the show and specifically the World Title match on NXT next Tuesday.
