Multiple Matches Announced For AEW Collision

Moments ago, AEW CEO and Founder Tony Khan took to his social media X/ Twitter account to reveal three new matches for AEW collision on Saturday, September 13th.

First, as part of the AEW Unified Title (formerly Continental Classic) tournament, we’ll see New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 Climax winner Konosuke Takeshita take on former AEW Tag Team Champion Anthony Bowens. The winner will advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Next, we’ll see current AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada defend his title in a battle against top UK prospect Michael Oku. The winner of this match will advance in the tournament and defend the title at the AEW All Out PPV on September 20th.

Finally, we’ll see some women’s five-on-five action when the team of Tay Melo, Anna Jay, Harley Cameron, Kris Statlander, and Jamie Hayter takes on Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, the group known as “Triangle of Madness”) Thekla, Sky Blue, & Julia Hart for a $500,000 prize.

We’ll also have AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm on commentary for the match.

These bouts and more can be seen this Saturday at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central time on TNT & streaming HBO Max.
