Mercedes Mone Set to Defend TBS Championship at Forbidden Door vs. Alex Windsor, CMLL’s Persephone and Stardom’s Bozilla
Mercedes Mone will defend her gold at the 02 Arena.
On the August 20th edition of AEW Dynamite in Glasgow, Scotland, Mercedes Mone, who is the longest reigning TBS Champion learned who her final opponent named was going to be, once she learned a few weeks ago that Alex Windsor was the first to qualify, Mone would also learn that CMLL’s Persephone was also added to the match before the final participant was added last night.
Stardom’s Bozilla was quoted to have said following her match in the respective promotion that she was going to be traveling to London to open the Forbidden Door, and now it looks like we know which huge matchup she will be part of.
Mone suffered her first loss in singles competition to the current AEW World Champion, Toni Storm, the same woman that Mone and Athena, the current Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion defeated in tag team action, also involving Windsor.
