Hurt Syndicate Set to Defend AEW World Tag Team Championships vs. FTR And Brodido at Forbidden Door
Hurt Syndicate will put their gold on the line against two of the top teams in the division.
In the finals for the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament, FTR and Brodido got to the time limit, and despite pulling out all the stops to advance to the championship match at Forbidden Door, instead, both teams earned themselves a shot at the Hurt Syndicate’s gold that has been around their waist since January when they defeated Private Party.
The match will be a three-way, but instead of one fall, it will be elimination rules to determine a winner.
Hurt Syndicate have been through a three-way in the last couple of weeks when they defeated Christian Cage and Nick Wayne, plus JetSpeed, the team of Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight at AEW All In.
